Todd Smith grew up in Wyoming and has spent much of his life pursuing trophy big game animals across North America. He and his family enjoy the thrill of the hunt and look forward to sharing that passion with their hunters. They realize that a good hunting trip is more than just harvesting an animal. Bear Basin Outfitters wants to offer you a positive experience throughout your Wyoming antelope hunt. The Antelope Hunting:  Bear Basin Outfitters offers both archery and rifle pronghorn antelope hunts in Wyoming. All hunts are fair chase. For their rifle hunts, they use the spot and stalk method after finding a trophy antelope that you are comfortable with. In a typical day, you may pass up many nice bucks until you find that perfect trophy. If you are interested in archery antelope hunting, the typical method is using ground blinds over water holes. The Wyoming antelope bowhunting season is best during late summer. Guides will field-dress, cape, and care for your trophy, as well.

Location:  Bear Basin Outfitters is located in the famous Hoback Canyon region of western Wyoming, 15 miles south of Jackson Hole, WY. This area is full of wildlife and trophy antelope, and the scenery is second to none. Transportation to and from Jackson Hole International Airport is included in your package price, should you need it.

Meals & Lodging:   All antelope hunts include lodging in a comfortable Wyoming antelope hunting lodge and daily lunch. Arrangements can be made for a complete meal package. Rest assured, Todd Smith and his family want to make you comfortable and ready to hunt that trophy buck.

Rates:  Bear Basin offers a "Working Man's" special for only $975, which is a 2 day rifle antelope hunt. They also offer a 5 day hunt, archery or rifle, for $2500. The same amenities, accommodations, and services are included with either hunt.

Other/Combination Hunts:  In addition to their pronghorn hunts, Bear Basin offers trophy Wyoming mule deer hunting, Bighorn sheep, bison, black bear, moose, mountain lion, and some excellent Wyoming elk hunting. If interested in a combination hunt, please contact Bear Basin for more information.
